CHASING LIGHT x BLOSSOMS

I wasn't really pleased with how my blog looked, so I tweaked it a little bit more - I am so fickle-minded.

I hope your Monday/Tuesday has been great. I spent my Tuesday morning/early afternoon cooped in my room recuperating and well... surfing the net. It was only later in the afternoon, when I left my room to get a glass of water before noticing the beautiful light in the balcony. To be honest, the balcony is the least visited spot in the entire house and the most visited spot would definitely be the kitchen!

So I went to grab the iPad, poured myself a cuppa instead and settled down in the balcony to read Looking for Alaska. Which by the way, grab yourself a copy of The Fault in Our Stars by John Green if you haven't already. Yes, it's probably one of the most overrated book but it's really worth the read! The whole time spent in the balcony, was one of the best. "Sometimes, you need to be alone. Not to be lonely, but to enjoy your free time being yourself."

I don't know about you, but I always have this image of what I call "The Perfect Morning" - Waking up to a playlist by Kevin Kern/Yiruma/Owl City, as the morning light sneak between the curtains, that slightly sweep the parquet floor, and reflect off the white walls. Before I reluctantly pull myself out of bed and sink my feet into a white faux fur rug and scoot across the room to the bathroom and wash up. While I brush my pearlies, a light fragrance which smells like breakfast quickly fills the room that used to smell like lavender. As I enter the dining room, a plate of sunny side up and a cup of freshly brewed tea from the finest tea leaves has been placed neatly on the glass table.

How do you picture your perfect morning? ○

Stay gold, xx
