Cëe's Kitchen: Nutella Pancakes

Happy Pancake Day! If you know me, you know that pancakes are one of my favourite food to have for breakfast because it's so easy to make. Now, I'm always up to try different variations of pancakes and this here is something I've never tried before (unbelievable, right?) There's 2 ways you can have these pancakes, either as nutella pancakes or nutella-stuffed pancakes. We all know the latter sounds so much better! The recipe for both are generally quite similar, except for some parts, but I'll try my best not to confuse you.

What you'll need:

– 150g all-purpose flour or ready-made pancake mix (follow instructions on pack)
– 2 teaspoons baking powder
– 1 egg
– 180ml of milk
– 3 tablespoons butter (melted)
– 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
– Nutella

Step 1:

Prepare your pancake batter in a large mixing bowl, by sifting together the flour, baking powder, and salt. If you're making nutella-stuffed pancakes, add in milk, egg, vanilla extract and melted butter and mix well. For nutella pancakes, simply add to the mixture 6-8 tablespoons of Nutella.

Step 2:

For Nutella-stuffed pancakes, scoop a dollop of nutella into the middle of the pancake and cook pancakes over low-medium heat until both sides are light brown.

Step 3:

Top if off with fresh fruits or chocolate chips!
I hope you enjoyed this visual feast. The next time you're having pancakes for breakfast, don't forget to give these recipes a try!
