Hello there! I apologize for the 2 weeks of disappearance and now.. I'm back with more food! So, the other day my friend made Oreo cheesecake, which was later named Cheesireo by us, to school. I've always like cheesecakes, but they're not a common find (either that or I'm not finding it at the right bakeries). If you like cheesecakes, Oreo or Oreo cheesecakes then you'll probably like this! Thankful to my friend who shared the recipe with me, now I can make my own cheesecakes! I'll post the instructions below, it's really easy to make so yeah! Have fun with it!
P/s: I used Philadelphia block cheese instead of the cream cheese because I accidentally bought both of them. So instead of letting the block cheese go to waste, I took the extra step of melting it in the oven before mixing it together. It doesn't matter which one you get, just that if you (like me) accidentally got the block cheese then just melt it beforehand so that it's easier when you need to mix it.
Start off with crushing 2 tubes of Oreo until they become powder like, then mix it with 80g of butter until it is evenly mixed. Pour the mixture into your mould, this will form the base of your Cheesireo. Refrigerate it for about 30 minutes. While refrigerating your Cheesireo, you can carry on with the next few steps. Mix 1 bottle of thickened cream together with 350g (about 1 1/2 blocks) of Philadelphia cream cheese and 1/2 cup of sugar until the mixture is evenly mixed. Melt 1 Toblerone white chocolate (add a little water else it'll get burnt) and add it into the mixture and mix well. Add 3 teaspoons of Gelatin powder and stir it with 1/4 cup of boiling water. Once you're done, add it into the mixture and mix well again. If you don't like your cheese mixture to have a little Oreo in it then skip this step else, crush 1 tube of Oreo and mix it into the mixture. Once you've added your crushed Oreo mix it well and voila! Now, pour your mixture over your cookie base (the one you refrigerated for 30 minutes) and pop it back into your freezer for about 2-3 hours. After that, it's ready to be served! (⌒‿⌒❀)
Hope you'll enjoy making it like I did, and again you don't have to follow the exact ingredients I got. You can always choose something else to replace the Oreo (if you don't like Oreo cookies).
