Weekend Picnic Party

Last weekend was the first time I went out on the weekends in a really long while as I was busy preparing for my piano exams. I got to celebrate The Ordinary Co's 3rd birthday with a whole lot of other girls over a picnic setting. Days leading up to the party, Monica (@luxmondi) was telling me how I would love it because it was gonna be pink and she was right!

I had an amazing time chatting, catching up with old friends over cakes, and checking out their jewellery. In the photos below, you'll see how this party was extreme picnic goals! If Singapore had better weather, I would drop everything and host a picnic like this every week!

I also had the opportunity to meet and speak to new people, which somehow reaffirmed what I wanted to do with life. The past 6 months or so have been difficult for me as I struggled to figure out what I wanted to do in life, along with the pressure of making my parents proud and I know I'm not alone on this. There's no easy or fast way to figuring these things out, but I learned to realise with more people you speak to the more insight they can give you - whether they know it or not. I have slowly grown to become more "sociable" because everyone has a story to tell, and not just because I'm a busybody, but I enjoy listening and it intrigues me how everyone has such a deep life story to tell that we know nothing of.

Eventually, when everything is finally settled and stable, I would like to do a life update to remind those of you who are going through the exact same thing to believe that everything will work out just fine.
