Skincare Empties | Buy or Bye

It's been a long while since I've done one of these posts, and since we're all asked to stay home I had the time to declutter (after putting it off for the longest time). I definitely threw out more stuff, but decided that these were some items that're worth mentioning before they go into the bin.

5 Lipsticks Worth Trying

The other day I did a poll on Instagram asking which post you would prefer to see next on my blog, it was a close one, but so many of wanted me to share my everyday go-to lip shades. In a similar post previously, I shared about deeper shades that you can wear through Autumn/Winter. Maybe these recommendations could last you through Summer?

Scents for Spring

I'm so excited to be sharing about my favourite scents for Spring! Fragrance plays a huge role in my life, and I love to be reminded of certain times with scents. It's kinda like time travelling, don't you think? I know we're a little into Spring now for this post, but better late than never! Life got the better of me after my last post and I just couldn't find time or the inspiration to sit down and write.

Falling for Autumn

We don't experience any seasons here in Singapore - except hot, very hot, and very wet as in drenched in sweat. But when October rolls around, I'm automatically in an "autumn" mood; dark lips, cinnamon everything, hot chocolate (when it rains it can get a little chilly). Some people get intimated by dark bold lips, but in this post I'll be featuring some irresistible shades that'll hopefully have you join in on the bandwagon!

It's All Rosy Here: A Roundup of Rose-Scented Products

Couple weeks back Lucido-L sent me their Argan Rich Oil range and you would've probably heard of them or seen them in stores. Like skincare and clothing, hair care is not a one-size-fits-all situation. Read on to find out which is the hair hero that you need!

Beauty Empties | Buy or Bye?

A part of what I do is trying out new beauty products, and with new releases so very often it's actually quite difficult for me to finish a single product. I finally accumulated enough products worth mentioning, and they're all rounded up in this post. Let's see which products are here to stay!

My Current Skincare Routine

This post is long overdue, but as requested, here's an update on my daily skincare routine for oily skin. I like to keep my skincare routine as short as possible because I know I won't be able to follow through if it's too time consuming.

Vacation Beauty Haul

I haven't done a beauty haul in a really long time, mainly because I'm lucky to be spoiled by brands and PR agencies but since I was in the US I figured might as well! I picked up a few beauty goodies because they were much much cheaper than in Singapore and with stores like Walmart, CVS and Target a lot of these products were bought at a really good price.

New In Beauty: That I Love

February seems like a month of new launches, and I'm lucky enough that I get to check out some of the products before their actual release. But as soon as this post goes up, most of the items would already be for sale in stores/online! :) Read on to find out more about the beauty products that I've recently gotten, and why I LOVE them.

Evening Self Care Routine

It feels weird to be back before the year is over. I originally had planned for a 3 part gift guide series but after the second one went up my laptop died on me and I FINALLY got myself a replacement laptop. To say that 2017 has been a less than good year is an understatement.

ANYHOO, I don't want to end the year off on a bad note and since many of you took interest in my evening routine I thought I'll do a post on it and the products I use! You probably have endless Christmas gatherings and New Year Eve parties to attend so make yourself a cup of tea and let's get to work! ✧

Best Foundations for Oily Skin

It's been a long journey trying and testing different foundations, but I think I have found my favourites that work best for my oily skin! Just some background, I live in hot and humid Singapore so makeup usually don't last as long and my face gets really oily after several hours. I'm simply too lazy to bring a powder around to touch up or blotting sheets to blot away the excess oil, so I always prefer an oil-free foundation. I remember doing a poll on Instagram once, and so many people preferred matte-finish foundations, so take notes because these are oil-free and matte!

ASOS Makeup Review

We're finally seeing ASOS's very own makeup/beauty range (though I must say it wasn't something I would expect from them)!! I first found out about their newest additions through email and immediately hopped over to their website and started adding tons of items to cart. In the end, I only got 2 items because I wasn't sure if they really work, and also there weren't many review/swatches on this line yet, which is strange. Continue reading to find out how the products look as I give you guys a mini review and swatch!

Review: The Ordinary

I hope you're all well, can't believe we are now days away from July!

By now you should have already heard about The Ordinary because it's so highly raved about despite being a fairly new brand. When I first heard of them, I didn't think too much about it until a friend of mine asked me about it recently. We started reading more about their products to see which would suit our needs better and that was when I realise how inexpensive their products are. Obviously the first thoughts that came to my mind was, "seems too good to be true" and "will the products be of any good?".
