EDVENTURES: THE PROVIDORE

[ Click on image to enter ]

A couple of weekends ago, Pei (@skeletales) and I went to The Providore supposedly for brunch but became lunch anyway. Both of us ordered the Steak sandwich from the brunch menu, and I had mocha while she had latte. Taking baby steps to start having coffee in my system, but I will forever love drinking tea. Few reasons why I don't order tea outside because: not many places serve tea that I actually like, and tea aren't exactly as photogenic as coffee...

What I like about this place? The steak sandwich, oh and free wifi. I kid you not, this steak sandwich is probably the best. Excuse me while I wipe up the pool of drool I have in front of me now. Very generous portions of beef and bacon, highly recommend this!!!

And what do I not like about this place? The lack of natural lighting, and it didn't help that it was pouring outside. Most cafes in Singapore are robbed of natural lighting because we have limited land so they are either in shopping malls or blocked by skyscrapers. We requested to change seats like about 3 times, and got flatly rejected ALL 3 times because they had an extremely queer logic.

At the end of the day, I think it's still worth a visit because they serve extremely delicious burgers (I think I've said this so many times). ○
