Beauty Empties | Buy or Bye?

A part of what I do is trying out new beauty products, and with new releases so very often it's actually quite difficult for me to finish a single product. I finally accumulated enough products worth mentioning, and they're all rounded up in this post. Let's see which products are here to stay!

⇢ Benefit Hoola Bronzer – This product has been talked about and highly raved so I decided to pick one up to try. I've been using it for a really long time now, and finally hit pan on it (and FYI, this is just the mini size). My initial thought was "okay time to find a new bronzer" instead of "let me get another one of this", and I think that says a lot.

A lot of other bronzers I've used either looked muddy or ashy on me. This bronzer's shade however, is perfect for my medium (sometimes tan) skin tone. It's an easy to blend bronzer, and you can always build up the intensity which helps because you'll never end up over applying. Strangely though, despite seemingly doing really well on my makeup, I'm still leaning towards trying other brands. Maybe because I've been reliant on this for so long that it no longer has any novelty?

⇢ Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist – I personally think that this product is worth the money – the smell is amazing, nothing too overly scented, the mist is fine and therefore is absorbed quickly into the skin to help set your makeup. Also, if you notice dry patches on your makeup spritz a bit of this and use a beauty blender to pat over the area. You can also use this if you've over powdered your face, and it helps bring back some glow to your face!

⇢ Pixi Glow Tonic – Another cult favourite that I had to give it a go. I used to use this twice a day, usually either in the morning or in the evening to remove any residual makeup that my makeup remover left out. It does the job well, and also leaves your face with a little radiance. I also really like the scent of the product. I've since moved on to another toner, but will go back to this one day!

⇢ Origins Renewal Serum with Willowherb – I would apply this in the evening, and absolutely love the way my skin feels and look after waking up. My skin feels properly hydrated, and doesn't feel greasy at all. It doesn't do much to help reduce the red acne marks on my face, but overall it does  help to clear up my skin and makes it look less red and prevents future breakouts. The price tag for this may be a little high, but in comparison with other skincare products I think this is normal.

Side note: I love Origins' range with willowherb, because all the products smell nice hur hur.

⇢ Fresh Rose Mask – This has to be one of my favourite masks I've ever tried. I really enjoy using this after my shower, it goes on the skin feeling cool which helps to close your open pores (from the warm shower/bath). The moment you cleanse it off, you'll see that your face is much bright, and feels super soft and hydrated. This product also comes in various sizes, and the smaller tub is perfect for someone who wants to try it out first before committing, or makes it travel-friendly!

Have you also tried any of these, or did you find something you would like to try? Let me know! :)
