Weekend Breakfast Club returns. Featured this week: French Toast. I'm sure everyone has had their share of french toast before, if you haven't then you're losing out. French toast is a dish of bread soaked (and I mean soaked like a sponge thrown into water) in beaten eggs and then fried. Can be served as a whole slice of bread or, like mine, cut into strips. Personally, I think french toast goes really well with soup (i.e cream of mushroom). Oh, and I topped mine off with maple syrup because sometimes, french toast can be pretentious (aka pretending to be waffles/pancakes). ○
