What's in My Makeup Bag

After 6 months of anticipation, I'm super excited to finally be packing for my trip to Europe! In a couple of days, I'll be on my way to my first European destination: Munich. I thought I'll kick off the travel content with a little what's in my bag, and if you're nosey like me, continue reading!

Usually when travelling, I'll try to keep everything as minimal as possible - so that I have enough luggage space for shopping. To do so, I'll take with me everything that's travel size, and guys this is when samples I've been collecting for months come in handy! Honestly, don't be ashamed to ask for sample products because firstly, it's a good way to test if something works for you before dropping a ton of cash. Secondly, it's the best for travelling, by the end of your 2-week vacation you would've emptied it.

BASE

For my base, I'm using NARS Radiant Longwear Foundation and Colourpop No Filter Concealer. The Colourpop concealer is one of my favourite concealers to date because of the coverage, the price, and just how easy it goes with other foundations. The NARS foundation is new, so I'm really eager to try out! To set, I'm using Mac Cosmetics's Prep + Prime Spray. Not pictured: sunblock - very important!

FACE

You cannot forget the glow, even on the go! I'm taking with me Mac's Whisper of Gilt Extra Dimension Skinfinish highlighter. The blusher is Clinique's latest shade Blush Pop which I'm looking forward to try as well. The Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof bronzer is my favourite to travel with because it's so flat and compact and weighs only 2.2g!

EYES

For eyeshadows, I only packed the Wet n Wild Rose in the Air palette as it has almost all my go-to shades. On days when I feel like I want a little colour on my lid, this would come in handy. It's also worth mentioning that this costs less than 5USD (less than 7 SGD - what?!)

LIPS

I've learnt my lesson on the importance of a lip scrub especially when going to drier climates. It doesn't matter how hydrating the lipstick is, if your lips aren't exfoliated it will still look chapped. If you don't feel like bringing along a lip scrub, you can always DIY one at the comfort of your hotel room or Airbnb. I bring along the Aquaphor Lip Repair everywhere I go because it nourishes and soothes chapped lips almost instantly.

For lipsticks, I usually bring along a neutral MLBB shade and a bold shade for when I want to switch things up. As I'm heading to Paris, I thought I'll do a classic red lip with Mac's Russian Red.

SCENT

Having a specific scent for a every trip is something that I usually do, so that when I use the scent again in the future memories and feelings forgotten will resurface. I mean who wouldn't want to be reminded of the fun times during their vacation right? ;)

As usual, thank you guys for taking the time to pop by and have a read. I'll be uploading more travel content on my Instagram so catch ya on the other side!
